Fokus

Focus is a bicycle brand from Kalkhoff Werke, a traditional German manufacturer. Focus was first introduced in 1993 as a premium brand with a focus on sporty mountain bikes. In the following years, the product range was gradually expanded and soon included trekking bikes and road bikes. Today, the Focus portfolio includes bikes for all disciplines and stands for high-quality, sporty bicycles with an appealing design.

Over the decades of its existence, the brand has incorporated quite a few innovations and technologies: Focus is always at the forefront of adapting to new developments and trends! In addition, they successfully develop their own technology, such as the F.O.L.D. rear suspension kinematics, which offers particularly optimized traction.

Focus supports several in-house bike crews, such as the Ride Beyond Crew or their Trail Team, whose journeys can be followed on various channels. Aside from that, they were also sponsors of UCI pros for years, such as Team Katusha, and cyclocross teams like Rapha-Focus. The brand also consistently stands out through its support of smaller projects within the scope of cycling promotion, such as the building of trails.

For several years, Focus has placed special emphasis on the pedelec segment of the bicycle industry: many of their models are now also available with a motor. A Focus e-bike contains the latest technology and offers high comfort and powerful performance. E-MTBs like the Focus Jam² (also written as Focus Jam2) or trekking e-bikes like the Focus Aventura² are well-made, feature an appealing aesthetic, and are worth their price!

A Focus bicycle is always a combination of high-quality materials, a modern design, and decades of accumulated know-how in frame construction. Many of the models are now well-known and popular in the bike scene: the Focus Izalco Max road bike, for example, is a perennial favorite among performance-oriented road cyclists. Cyclocross bikes like the Focus Mares also enjoy great popularity. True to its origins, however, it is the Focus mountain bikes that leave a particular impression. All-mountain MTBs like the Jam, enduro bikes like the Sam, or hardtails like the Jarifa are available in various equipment variants, with aluminum or carbon frames, and in diverse fashionable colors.
