About Us

What was born from an idea and began in 50 sqm with 3 hours of opening time has evolved over the years into a high-performing company in the bicycle industry.

In 1991, we realized our vision and opened a small, innovative bike shop. Initially, the goal was to offer sports-oriented cyclists a level of service that had previously been unavailable in the region. Our dedication was quickly rewarded by many loyal customers. Consequently, the "little shop" with limited opening hours soon reached its limits.

An opportunity arose to expand our premises at Berliner Platz in Hameln. At the same time, opening hours were adjusted, and the first employee was hired. Over the first few years, the business developed into a "full-range retailer," providing its customers with everything related to cycling. And if something wasn't in stock, it was simply ordered.

In 2006, we launched our online shop and expanded rapidly in this challenging market segment as well. More staff were hired and the premises were expanded. Before a bike was shipped, it was fully assembled, checked by another employee, test-ridden, and only then packaged and sent to the end customer.

Since standing still means moving backward, we opened an E-Bike Center in 2011. At the time, it was the first E-Bike Center in the entire Weserbergland region. There was plenty of room here to present the large selection from individual manufacturers clearly and completely. We thus set the course for new products and future innovations in this industry.

In October 2014, we launched our website with a completely new look. Not only the design, but also the menu navigation and user-friendliness were adapted to modern requirements. Product quality, technical expertise, competent advice, and excellent service are our top priorities. We are also a training company in both mechanical and commercial fields. Furthermore, we see it as our responsibility to give young, committed talent the opportunity to fully pursue their sport through our support.

In addition, we gave further thought to the topic of financing and leasing. This led to the introduction of bicycle leasing through Jobrad, Bikeleasing Service, Business Bike, and many other partners, which we have been offering since June 2016. Since the beginning of 2020, almost every third bunnyhop customer has opted for bicycle leasing.

Since January 2020, we have been proudly presenting our new building. On 1600 sqm, with 900 sqm of pure sales area, we consistently offer 300 to 400 different bicycles. In addition, we always have over 400 bikes in stock in our warehouse. From trekking/city e-bikes to mountain e-bikes, as well as highly professional road bikes and mountain bikes, to children's bikes and much more, there is something for almost everyone. Thanks to the new location, extensive test rides are now no longer a problem. The grand opening will take place in summer 2020.

The new building also offers entirely new opportunities for our employees. An open-plan office allows for much more efficient and effective communication between our staff and managers, the storage area has grown enormously, and the workshop now features a separate reception and collection point. Today, 37 employees across all our departments work to handle customer requests quickly and competently. The result is a competent specialist retailer with a wide range of products that meets the needs of dedicated performance athletes just as well as those of everyday and recreational cyclists.
