About Haibike

Founded in 1995 in the city of Schweinfurt, the Haibike brand initially sold its sporty bikes under the name of its parent brand, Winora, but subsequently evolved rapidly in terms of technology and content, eventually adopting the Haibike name for its bikes as well. Due to its connection to the parent company, the manufacturer manages to combine secure and proven structures with the dynamics of a start-up, which has led to great successes and innovations over the years. The brand is particularly well-known for its Haibike e-bikes—not least because Haibike was one of the first manufacturers to expand into the ePerformance category and produce truly off-road capable e-MTBs. Haibike consistently manages to win design awards with its bicycles and raise the bar for sporty pedelecs.

Technology

To realize the brand's vision of sporty and dynamic e-bikes with extreme performance, Haibike engineers are constantly developing new techniques and concepts that position them as pioneers in the e-sports sector. They were the first bicycle manufacturer worldwide to introduce the special "gravity casting" manufacturing process—a casting method originating from motorcycle construction for particularly stable and lightweight parts. The first carbon e-fully also originated from the Schweinfurt brand and shook up the e-bike scene in 2014.

Cycling Promotion

Haibike has been the main sponsor of the Haibike Pro Team since 2011, for which, among others, two-time world champion Sabine Spitz rides. Furthermore, Haibike supports various athletes such as Yannick Granieri and Maximilian Semsch, who completed the longest e-bike tour ever made to date.

Haibike Bikes

What many people do not know: before the e-bike boom, Haibike produced normal bicycles without electronic assistance, but these were never really commercially successful. Even today, Haibike still has some models without motors in its range: under the model name "Seet," they offer affordable Haibike hardtail mountain bikes for children and adults.

Haibike E-Bikes

Haibike's breakthrough came when they convinced the market with innovative concepts and new technologies during a time of increasing e-bike popularity. A Haibike e-bike was and remains a guarantee for performance, stability, and limitless riding fun. While pedelecs like the Haibike Trekking are designed for moderate tours, a Haibike fully like the Haibike Sduro or the Haibike AllMtn represents a brutal e-MTB machine that can help ambitious riders reach new sporting heights.
